Urban radiography of Rivas: the keys to future city planning
The City Council of Rivas Vaciamadrid has released to public information the draft urban information, diagnosis and synthesis prior to the revision of the General Urban Planning Plan of the city. It is a document, prepared by a team of urban planners, which radiography, as a diagnosis, the situation of the city to define its main challenges for the future.
The document has been prepared by the office Ezquiaga Arquitectura, Sociedad y Territorio S.L. for the Consistory ripense, and serves as the basis for the new planning of the city, considering the current project already exhausted. The main lines of the document lie in the consolidation of the existing city, the 'stitching' of the city (focusing on mobility problems and the burial of the Metro tracks to create a surface park), the reconsideration of urban edges and the urban regeneration of older spaces.
